I took the newly bought Vinson out for the first time the other day and found it had a busted shifter and a bent frame. I had the shifter replaced $300 plus installation. And I am looking for a frame for it. Do you guys have a good place to buy OEM items? The best price I found was $887 plus $180 shipping at BikeBandit. I see why it is called Bandit.
Depending on where the frame is bent it may be possible that a bodyshop or automotive frameshop could tie it down and give it a pull to straighten it. Would be worth looking into before you spend the big dollars for a new frame. Just a thought. Good luck.

The problem with doing nothing is I'm never sure when I'm done.
It's still in the shop right now. I will be picking it up Monday and then I might strip it down some to take a look at the frame. The good thing is, I can look at a frame on the internet so I can compare what it should look like. What the shop has told me is that both front tires are leaning to the right. They also said it isn't the A-frame on the front wheels either.
