I started looking at this forum when i was thinking about buying a 800. I have since bought a King Quad. I like several things about the 800, some I didnt. Some things I dont like about the King either, but it fitted my budget better.

Hope you and the king made out alright after the roll. I also went 26" Carlise a.c.t. x/lr tires. Warn winch, I made guards for the radiator, modified the reverse overide button, and installed a gps. I did crank the springs to the 4th notch felt too spongy on the factory setting.

My Carlise tires are very aggressive. I changed to them before I ever rode so I dont know how the stock ones would do. I havent experencied The grab in the front, mine is a 2006 so maybe they did something to change it or maybe i just havent had it happen yet. Not a lot of miles on mine yet. Hatfield Mccoy next month that will be the real test.

Roost, the only mods to help the bars pulling is putting a steering stabilizer on or doing the Camber mod. So far I haven't had the bars pull to where it bothered me.
