Some of the 05's had some reverse gear problems, I can't remember what vin number it ended with but anyway Suzuki has extended the warranty for 5 years on the reverse gear. I sent you a PM.

Yup, the stock filters suck. I had some sand in my intake when I changed mine to a Twin Air.

We had a 2006 KQ 700EFI for several months, and I it rode nearly everyday. Its a great, great quad one of the best in my opinion. Other than the early 2005 KQ models Vin numbers below  [size=JSAAP41A_52115956]with the reverse gear failure they are generally rock solid, minus the stock filter as pointed above. Here are some links to more info on those subjects that I put together. I would stay away anything below that VIN number.

Stock Filter Report

Reverse Gear Failure

Overall KQ Info

First thing to get is the Air Filter! It seems the TwinAir is one that the majorority has been using. Another mod people were doing is the caster mod. Good luck...

It depends on what the numbers before the 7200 are if it is OK. You need to compare the last 6 digits.

..hey what kind of Synthetic oil do you have access to? Amsoil, Mobil 1 ?? I use synthetic oil in every motor I own since 1978.. :) I'd suggest you use a good 10-40wt synthetic.
