I have a 2000 Kodiak 400 auto/4x4 and wondered it anyone has retro-fitted a brake light to this year wheeler?  I would like to have more than a tail light when riding!

Is there something "peculiar" to the lighting system that makes it hard to just add some lights?

Hi Quadaholic, thanks for the welcome and reply! I'm not sure what you are asking??? I was thinking that I could add a solenoid (?) so that when I put on the brake(s) I would have a brake light. I would have to change out the stock taillight bulb to the combo tail/brake.

they make brake light switches that you can add to yer yami. then all you would have to do is the light socket its self and wire it in

With a brakelight switch(above link) you should be set. You might also need to "tee it in" the system, if you don't have an available port.
