I have a friend with a 2008 Grizz. He wants to know what kind of oil to use in it. I would think you would have to run a motor cycle type oil since they have an internal clutch as well as a cvt? Thanks in advance for your help!

I run Amsoil 0W40 Oil. You have to use a Motorcycle oil for the wetclutch. JASO MA spec. I change mine every 40 hours as it only takes 2 quarts.

i've always used valvoline in the wet clutches as it's one of the few oils left that dont have any of the "energy conserving" additives that are supposed to be bad for them, according to the oil cans anyways. Its good oil too. 10w30 or 10w40 for a griz probably.
