Registration opened Friday and we have several entries already, make sure you get your name in early on this one!! Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, we are hosting a Southern Monster Truck Showdown event at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center in Gainesville, GA. As well as the wild monster truck action, we are hosting 2 classes of ATV flat-track racing at each show! The Youth class will be open to those age 12-17 and an adult class will be open to all 18 & over, obviously! You may race 1, 2 or 3 dates, whichever you prefer. Entry fee is $20 per rider, per day, all entry fees are 100% payback, plus $250 per class, per day is added to the jackpot. 1st through 3rd will be paid, 50-30-20% respectively. While we will, of course, have rules which keep the bikes fairly evenly matched to avoid a "ringer" situation, they will remain fairly simple. We will require that every racer be attired properly with all safety gear, no jeans, tshirts, sneakers, etc. Also, we try to run a "drama-free" show, so please, no attitudes. Unsportsmanlike behavior won't be tolerated, there are a lot of kids in our audience, so let's give them something to look up to! To pre-register, simply send us your name, hometown and date of birth via email to smts4info@yahoo.com If you will, please let us know which date(s) you want to race as well. Gates open at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday, with shows at 8 pm. Mandatory driver's meeting for all racers will be at 7 pm on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is a "matinee" show, gates open at Noon, show at 2 pm, with the mandatory driver's meeting at 1 pm. The rules and information have been posted on our website, so check it out: http://www.SouthernMonsterTruckShowdown.com Also, tickets go on sale Monday, October 13th at the facility office, so pick them up for only $10 in advance of show date for adults and $5 for kids. (At the gate, adults are still only $15) Where else can you take a family of four for $40 or less, with this much action!?!?!
