LOL! Thats a strong possibility he had a 500 Popo, he is the oldest in our group...51 but I think he might also be the craziest! The mud should slow him down though...I am hearing there may also be snow and ice still in the bush...thanks for the kind wishes and have a great weekend yourself!:)

have a good weekend snow in the bush is nothing its the ice in the bottom of the mud holes that make it fun really slippery

Arrived at Parry Sound at 11:00 am Friday May 2 08. New trailer worked flawlessly but we could only fit 4 wheelers in. One of the machines was a 2 seater cat and one of the Can-am 's had after market tires. No problem removed the tool box and tailgate of my pickup and put the Outy in the truck. Rooms at the Quality Inn where not quite ready so we unloaded and went to the Golden Griddle for lunch. After lunch we went into town to find the beer store, bought some beer and fueled the truck up,$100.00. Rooms where ready when we returned so we threw our bags in and headed into town to register. Registration was quick and easy. We only had until 3:00pm to do the poker run in town because the organizers, understandably, didn't want atv's running around town when the school buses were running. We made it to 9 out of 17 of the poker dealers before heading back out of town. It is really weird running in town dodging traffic and pulling wheelys at lights lol! We went back to the fairgrounds and seen what hands we pulled. I got a king high straight which was the best of our hands. We headed back to our rooms using the trail and came across a honda on its side in a mudhole. After a hour of playing around there we made it to the rooms for a few afternoon beers.:)

I overindulged on the afternoon beers and didn't make it to the rumble ride but 2 of our group did and say it was great.

On Saturday morning we headed to the restaurant for breaky and then back over to the fairgrounds to start the ride. They line you up and send you out in groups of 20. Nice sunny morning, perfect weather for a ride. We chose the Georgian Rocks ride and it was great. Approximately 50 km long with lots of awesome scenery and moderate mudholes. We heard from others that the intermediate to beginner ride ,Grand Trunk, had way more water and mudholes, maybe next year. We arrived at the hotdog stand at noon. Nice size pond near the stand so people were water wheeling and  having a great time. I was going to try it but one honda got hydro locked and his buddies were trying to help him get out...by ramming him. Enough of that foolishness... lets ride!

It was almost too hot in the morning but after lunch the rain came down and cooled us off. As we headed out after lunch we were lead by a new razor. I couldn't believe the stuff he went through it was amazing. At a long steep hill I thought for sure he was going to roll but he went up it like nothing. I was puckered pretty good when I made the accent!:)

Towards the end of the ride you pass a huge gravel pit on the top of the rock cut. The view was amazing. After another half hour or so your back at the fairgrounds in line where for 5 bucks the Parry Sound Firefighters clean all the mud off. Thank god for them no mud in the trailer!:ban:

After a few more afternoon beers, a shower and a sauna we ordered up a taxi and headed in to the Bobby Orr Complex for dinner, awards and a standup comedian. Dinner was roast beef and all the fixin's and was (don't tell my wife:tg:) better then home cooked. After a few more drinks and lots of socializing we headed back to the room once again. Up in the morning and home at 1:00 pm Sunday afternoon.

We had no mechanical problems at all and the only thing I could complain about is people shutting off their machines and leaving them sitting in the middle of the trail to take pictures, oh...and I was cut off at Don Cherries bar!:tg:

This Jamboree is very well organized  and we are already making plans to return next year. The staff is very personable and treat you as if they have known you for years. I highly recommend this trip.:2cent:

I forgot to add that I had my truck nutz on on the first trip to town...bent them popping a wheelie in the parking lot at the motel...ouch!:tg:
