I am looking for a tool box that goes in place of the back seat on a 04-05 outlander Max. I went to my dealer and ordered one but it came in as a plastic rack filler piece that does not open up. He called can am and they said that they no longer make the tool box that opened and the only thing that they make now is the filler piece to plug the hole when you take the seat off. If you have one you are selling or know were I can get the tool box for a 04-05 please contact me. I would like a tool box but if any one has the filler piece that is not a tool box just the plastic filler. I would be interested in it. Basically when I ride the outlander max solo with the back seat off I need to fill the space.Thanks Rapidrobert

Aren't there scrapyards for atv's? I've never dealt with them but I have heard of them. Try a google search.

There are scrap yards but the filler panel was a accessory that you had to purchase from bombardier and did not come with the wheeler. Rapidrobert

The black tool boxes on ebay only fit 06-08 outlander max the 04 and 05 are different. Thanks for the info however.

Rapidrobert, I have a toolbox for the max, I bought it to put on my XT but got lazy, i'm sure we all can relate, so it 's just sitting in the garage, brand new and it has the mounting stuff also. PM sent.
