Hey guys I putting together a snapshot of all the wheels and tires out on the market. If you want to check it out just click on the link. There are some nice wheels out there. I really like the beadlock, and C-Lock wheels from ITP and Douglas. Vision also has a sweet wheel.

Thanks for making this a sticky topic. I ll be updating as new tires and wheels come out.

I ll take you up on that MST review, I just got a request for an MST Tire review, and I did not know of anyone that bought a set. What size did you buy?

Did you ever run the Maxxis Mudbugs?

I can't get this link to work. It is asking for a user name and password. Has this link been protected?

Wow, thats too bad...I know there was a good write up on tires there as I had read it a while back. I see you went with the Bearclaw Ex...for new boots. Just wondering why the EX's instead of the original K299's.

I know I want to upgrade my tires soon and don't know if I should go with the XTR's, Bighorns or the K299's.

I just wanted to try something new. I've had the original Bearclaws before and they were a good tire so I thought I'd try these. I don't have enough time on these yet to give an opinion of them

LaMigras site now costs about $5.50 a month to access...your right there was some good info there. The whole site actually

In your opinion how do the 299's compare to the Bighorns. Sure wish I went to Parks Falls to talk to all you ATV guru's.  My lady's folks have a trailer near Eagle River...could have taken her there and gone ridin with the experts.

Where's your ride going to be next year.

I just bought a new set of tires and rims for my 08 outty 800 max xt. original tires are 26x9x12front and 26x10x12 back the new tires are 26x10x12front and 26x12x12 back. they are a little wider. Is this going to create any issue's with clearence?

If you bought aftermarket rims, you will be fine. 10's on the stock rims might rub on the tie rods

Got the set mounted. Great rims. Tires vibrate a little but are awsome in the mud. there where 4 atv's total and I was the only one that didn't get stuck. Feels great to be the savior with a winch. Put 300 miles on them this week. Mostly trails and blazing our own trails through the wood. Tires are great for rocks and crossing logs. Sidewalls are stiffer than the A.C.T. so my arms got a little tired. All in All this was a good investment.

Outlandish,

Can you delete one of these previous posts. I must of clicked twice. Also I attached a picture with the new rims/tires but it didn't show up on the post? Did I do something wrong?

Tom

What double post?

Have you posted pics before, I don't see anything in the email. If it's 800 or less it should work. Try again or email to me. tr2@aurorawheelers.com

Hey, does anyone know of a type of wheel that will not increase my stock width. I looked at ITP-SS and they said they are one inch wider than stock. If anything I would like to go in a little. I race harescrambles and one inch would be too much.

Stock wheels is the only way to go bud. Have them beadlocked by OMF or Trailready and you'll be set.

I would think that you would want that added stabillity that the extra width offers. I really preffer it on the Outy to be the aftermarket 4/3 offset, as aposed to the stock offset. But I have never raced a hair scramble, just picturing high speed turns that I make on some of the fast trail rides we do. The aftermarket 4/3 offset will take  your outer width to about 49"s with aftermarket rims and most 25-26"tires.

I will agree cc but the trails that we race on are tight.  I mean, barely wide enough to fit through.  Most sport quads stick to 46inch width.  The narrower the better on an xc machine especially on big ute.
