What's everyone's thoughts on the stock ITP radials that come on the 'Gades ?

Any major complaints, concerns, highlights, pro's & con's ?

Thanks.

They seem to get great traction just about anywhere. They also seem to be wearing quite well, the only complaint I have with em' is they all leak a little due to some tiny pinholes either in the sidewalls or tread. I don't baby the things either though, they get rocks and more rocks every ride out. I put a good sized gash in one of the fronts that took 6 or so plugs and it's held since the day I plugged it. For the price it, if you're looking for a radial tire with good traction overall, it will get the job done nicely.

I use this stuff in my tires   Ride On I use the one for SUV's and Light Trucks. the suv stuff is made for the wider type tires, aand for high speeds so you dont get the out of balance troubles as with Slime :)

The biggest complaint about the ATR radials are the sidewalls being thin. If you don't ride in the rocks much, it would not be a big deal. The tires on a Gade are 25"

If you are getting new tires I would upgrade to 26's. A little more ground clearance isn't a bad thing.

Friend has a 08 Gade X. She plugged the rears so many times it was sickening.. She tore off the Holeshots  and replaced them with Bighorns. No problems.

Speaking of Bighorns. I have a set in my garage ready to go onto a new set of rims.

Check out the Horns.. She said the sidewalls were thin.. She was not impressed with the holeshots.Said they sucked.

We ride mountain trails with rocks...

Just fyi..

Have a set on my 08 Gade X as well and have used them in two xc races here in Iowa and they SUCK! Sure ... they get good traction when going straight forward and on flat ground but as soon as there is any off-camber type of action, they're horrible. They don't hold very well. Everyone who has tried them are either going back to Maxxis All-tracs or looking towards either Terras or Horns
