I hate to be a baby, living in the south here but my hands froze several times last winter. I see several of you use them.

What make do you have? Happy with them? Which ones are junk? Where did you get them? I'll take any comments you have to offer.

Thanks.

they are a must here in canada!

i got a set made by kimpex, work very well, there are connector's already under your dash pod, so you don't have to cut, or splice any wires to connect them to.

a tip for installation-----  buy a can of spray styrofoam, ( good suff i think is the name ) and spray it into one end of your handlebars until it comes out the other end.

this way they are much more effecient, and will use less battery draw to keep warm:2cent:

oso, those are the same as i installed on mine,

make sure you check the clearance of the throttle lever, you will need to trim the edge of the hand grip, as the thumb throttle lever will not return to idle position.

these grips are larger in diameter then the stock grips!

Thanks guys, I have seen these before. Just looking for a little reassurance.

Anyone else? Don't they have thumb warmers as well?

Thanks.

Symtec Warmers are one of the best out there. They have 2 zone and 4 zone.  Individual settings with 5 levels. Hand, thumb, seat, vest, etc. They work graet and nice grips too.

The dealer put mine on. Ion't remember the price. I assume they are BRP. Plenty warm. I put them on low when I was riding in Wis Sat.

I have the brp heated grips. They are warm alright, but they feel like a cops nightstick. Rock hard. I bought Mt.Bike handlebar foam grip tape, and carefully put it on our grips, like taping a hockey stick. Now they are the most comfortable hot grips I have ever seen.
