Anybody been there?  Whats it like?  Recommended loops to do?  Good places to stay and do day trips from?  Best time of year to go?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Best time is June thru October, I'm going next week for my 4th trip there, it's a 10 hour drive there for me and worth it.

I'll stay at Winklemans cabins as usuall, trail runs righ thru the property. You can take off at dawn and ride till dark and not hit the same trail twice and do that about 5 different times.

I'll send you a PM

Just got home from a 602 mile ride out there...had a blast.

I wasn't the navigator so I don't know the trail numbers, we rode alot of Piaute 01...stay off of T33 into Circleville, it will beat the bottom off of your bike.

Left out of Richfield, went to towns such as Panquitch, Circleville, Duck Creek Village, oh I don't remember, the trails are not bad at all, unless you get onto the occasional trail with 3 or 4 miles of good ol lava rock...those are fun. Went to Big Rock Candy Mountain, very cool place...Ate at Henrie's in Panquitch, best cheeseburger I ever ate!

If you stay in Richfield, it's a big town with a Wal-Mart and many places to eat...plus it has Jorgensen's if you need any bike parts or repair, it's actually a good dealership, they also sell the trail permits as well...$30 I think...

Good luck and post here how your trip goes...you too Quad!

Thanks for the replies.. can't wait to get out that way and check it all out. I'm feeling like a kid in a candy store, don't know where to start first.

Quadaholic... where is Winklemans and are they private cabins or can anybody stay there?

OutlanderDan.. thinking of staying in Marysvale and then doing different rides out of there. I've only got a week to do this and I'm coming from SoCal. What do you think?

About 4 miles north of Marysvale. You'll see "Hoovers" on some maps.

Anyone with $$ can stay there, cabins start at about $100, fully furnished, sat-tv, bbq, pretty much everything, except food in the fridge and your clothes. They have really good food at Hoovers and great food at the "Rock", gas staion is right there too.

Check your PM's I sent you a link with good info.

Marysvale is a great place to base a tripout of...

Quad has much more experience with this area than myself, but it is a great place to ride...

We're headed to Moab in June for a 9 day ride on the slickrock...I can't wait!
