Just wondering about my diffs. My outty has now one year of age in my hands and i got it new. But to me they look like a old witches pot after being used for centurys.
but i have seen pics of diffs on this forum like in the Alumatech CV guard topic.
and there the diffs look like a nice silver color. buy the way under my seat the label says manufactured 05/2007 but dealer said to me its 2008 model.

so is it possible that it would be other kind of material in the diffs ?

Probably nothing to worry about, maybe your soil has something in it , that is "coloring" it like that. My 07 was actually built in Oct. 06, makes sense if ya think about it.
