At WOT it feels like it run out of fuel. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've Changed fuel filter ,Plugs and checked the connection throttle body sensors.

it might be water in the gas. mine wouldn't run well at WOT after i drowned it a few times. i drained the tank and ran the vent line up to the gauge pod and haven't had a problem since.

Thanks for the response, I did drain the tank and put in fresh fuel and also checked the compression and had 190# per cylinder.

Now I'm wondering if it"s fuel pressure or an EFI sensor issue.

Is 190# of pressure the norm for stock cylinders?

If your gas tank collects enough junk in it. it will clog up the internal filter and reduce the fuel available .

There is a "sticky topic" on how to fix that here.

Basically remove tank and pump then clean.

Well it looks like I'll be removing the fuel tank tomorrow.

It's most likely the problem due to the fact when I changed the fuel filter it had alot trash in it.

thanks once again

Yea My brother(mlg44) and I have been too 5A a couple of times.

We found some great swamp trials to ride where the water was 2.5 to 4 foot deep.

We love those water wheelies!! as you've seen on the mudmuckers vid.

Could be  same solution for you too.

If the pump doesn't get enough fuel running thru it, it can overheat and slow down.

i was supposed to be out there that weekend at mudmuckers.  i'm sure we'll meet up for a ride.  i actually have had to add weight to the front of my outy to keep it stable, cause the 12" wide tires up front will water wheelie without any throttle :tg:

I would also see if your tank vent is pinched.

Where is the vent located?
