I think I read somewhere they dropped the Diesel cat for 09.

It was expensive and way underpowered. The Tcats last year were similar in price with 3 times the hp and torque. The Diesels I believed topped out about 40mph and took there own sweet time to get up there.

I like the concept of a diesel quad, but only if they were to build one with a  turbo on it. Normal asperated diesel just do not work well in that small a motor or really any size really. Unless the only goal the buyer has is to have a machine that burns ag fuel as apposed to gas, they would be much better off with a 700 or 950 gas model.

Yep....CC.. I test drove a diesel cat about a year ago.... It is no doubt a dog..when it comes to accleration and speed.... and you are right..it takes about a 1/8 or better to get to the 40 mph

The feeling I have ...from what i seen ...it's just a pig...the only thing its got going for it is that its a diesel...and how much is that considering diesel costs more than gas now?:2cent:

Too bad. The Ag users surely would've jumped on it if it was slow but powerful...

What a waste!
