I have no clue but would think it is not a bigger quad.... Guy on Quadsquad is supposed to post after watching the live presentation today. Also I have been told it should be posted up on Honda's website today with all the new models etc.......and there will be surprises but what it is is not sure........ Thanks for the update, I will keep an eye out for it. Honda really needs to come out with something, that $11,399 price I see they have on there awefull atemp at a side by side is just plain funny, I fear it will be a major flop for them, they need a revised, or an all new flag ship quad in a bad way, if they are going to hang on to there number one spot in sales much longer. Thats it, a new color.  I have to say I am not really all that suprised, with Honda you just have to have extream patients or just jump ship and buy a different brand. Its a sad deal but untill they loose more market share, they will be content with selling 350 Ranchers to the masses. Another year and nothing new ????????????  Who else is left, are all the 09 MFGs products out on the table now? I am thinking Honda was the last one, if not mistaken?

Yep I guess its either an Outlander 800r or Sportsman 850....All the 09s are on the table and I probably won't wait another year for Honda again which usully turns into two years before you can buy one. I don't think I would be too big on a first year machine from Polaris. It will have a lot of bugs to work out no doubt. Outlander looks to be the best most well proven model now that is getting more refined......How do you really like the 09 to the older ones cc? I guess thats it unless Suzuki has something up their sleeves.........but this may not be all the new releases from Honda I am not sure yet if its over or not.....

I feel the 09 Outlander is truely the best one yet. The Outlander has been my hands down favorite machine since they came out, back in 2005. I tried the Tcat last year pretty much knowing when I went into it that it was not going to stack up to an Outlander with its overall package. The Sp850 is up next to try for this coming year to see if it can stack up against the Outlander with its overall pkg. From what I have read its got a decent chance of being just as good if not better in some ways as the outlander. Thats not so say that I think it will ever handel as well as an outlander, I just don't see how that would be possible without the TTI suspension that the Outlander has. But with the other features the Sp850 brings to the table, I feel its got a chance at having the overall best all around package. You can't really go wrong with the Outlander though. Its really a top of the line machine. If it gets beat in best all around pkg by the polaris, I really doubt it could be by much. The difference in low end didn't bother you? Is it as fun? Some said the wowo factor wasn't as good as the 08s. I am considering it defintly now.

It's not terrible, it gets up and moves just about as good as the older ones. Its really to me more refined in its feel, partly do to a more managable take off. The older ones seemed to have a little more jerkyness to them. So I feel it helped them in a way, as far as what the machines appeal would be to the masses. No machine is perfect, and most will do there own mods to them over time to make them into what they want, there are plenty of low cost mods that could be done to the 09s to add that hard punch back to them if thats what is desired. IMO its more well rounded now than ever. Yeah the 09 800R's are still fun and pack a good punch. But it is rediculous how Honda treats competition. It's as if they don't care if other companies exist or the models they produce. Honda will never change. A bit overly confident if you ask me. But if they think they can go the next 20 years without competing, then they really feel like no one is a threat to their domination. Might be true, but still arrogant and prideful imo. On Saturday, me, GOTT, and Sr. were riding at Nemadji, and we got passed by the new 2009 Rancher 420 AT with IRS... Honda almost got it right...but they need to make that same bike with an ES trans or manual shift. Their automatics are $hit compared to the ES and S models. But I guess there's always 2010.  Oh, and if anyone can find some pics of these 09' Ranchers, please post them, I can't find any.  Come on, Honda, next year>>>>420 FI, 4x4, IRS, ES<<<<
