I did't know anyone ever used that forum. LOL

I never see anyone on the other forums to often so I thought as many fokes that like the side by sides, I thought I would pass the word on the main populated forum. For me brand names are not that big a deal. I like most all the major brands,  and like to know what the other brands are coming out with. Just passing on the news.

Looks pretty cool.  Lacks efi and doesn't give a dry weight I'd be interested to know where it weight's in.  Was looking for a SxS but ended up buying a geo tracker locked in the rear with tractor tires instead for $900 and can haul 3 passengers just about anywhere.:ban:  Our local park width is not an issue.  My daughter was bummed when I bought my renegade instead of a rhino, but hard to beat the adrenaline from a big vtwin.

When they start building these things with the proper engine size (1000-1200cc imo) I'm going for the roll cage, harness, stereo, and bigger cooler sbs. Busted ribs suck.

Aint been on in a while, almost healed and nearly ready to ride, IF we can get some rain to knock some dust!

We had a show in Phoenix a week ago. I sat in this new machine. It is going to give the Yamaha a run for the money. The only issue is no FI. I spoke to one of the guys from the factory. He said the atv div didnt talk to the utv div. So that is why no FI. He also said within 6 mo of the release this unit will be FI.

I dont think I would buy one until then. If they come out 6 mo after the initial release the non Fi units will take a huge hit on resale!!!!!!

I had a dealer in Flagstaff AZ call their factory rep and he said the same thing early spring for FI.

I will wait till then to buy if I don't get ansy and buy a FI Rihno.

I don't think the non efi units will take that bad of a hit because there is so many aftermarket parts out for the brute 750 already and will be compatible.

I have an EFI machine and a carb machine, both start, run, and accelerate the same with no hiccups.

It would be nice to calibrate with a hand held though instead of needles and jets. :coff:

These are supposed to be in dealers this month. It will be hard to not walk out with one after knowing how good the V-twin kawi's are. Almost sprung for a Razr, but am holding out for the Tyrex.

If you timed it right at the dealer and the had both carb and EFI models, you could probably get a better deal on the carburated one. Once you get jetting "down" it's not that bad, and if you pipe it, it's easier to compensate and get an increase in performance. :2cent:

Now then if Kawasaki makes it easy to reprogram their EFI / computer, then the above theory goes down the toilet :)

I had a 650 and now a 750, neither of them gave me any problems. As you know the V-twin engines are strong, and the 750 is a big improvement in power over my 650 Prairie I had. There is also alot of aftermarket parts for the 750. The VDI and Dynatek cdi are great upgrades, but not sor sure if they are the same for the Teryx. Not sure why they wouldn't be, but who knows right now. Knowing the power of the 750, the Teryx would be my choice for a SxS easily.  The Razr is cool, but not useful as a SxS at all with that little box.

Being it is not EFI (yet), the upgrades like a cdi will be easily added. I have an EFI machine and the 750 brute. Both start and run the same in cold or warm weather. As for just the motor, the 750 has alot more potential than any of the V-twins offered as of most knowledge now. The new 950 cat motor is unknown right now, but it is sais it may have room to be bored out. Not my thing, but some people are crazy.

I'm not sure what else to tell you. What would you like to know?

I know the reputation the 750's have for power. Is the CVT good? Belt life? What's the deal with the rear oil bath brakes? Does that locker engagement lever work well?

I had over 1000 miles on my 650 with 27" tires and no problems with the belt. The rear brakes are awesome! Every atv should have this. Easy to maintain (switched to amsoil...done) and it works well. No frozen brakes. I've never had a problem with the locker either. The Teryx has a different locker though. Well, I should say it's different in the way you engage it. Not exactly sure, but I know it's not a lever like the atv's.
Everyone will tell you though that the 4wd engagement takes a little getting used to. Not sure if this is the same on the Teryx.

Anybody know when they ship, sat in one last week at the bike show and the wifey likes better than the rhino so we will probably buy one, and if I have to buy from the US. The US has the list on the LE at 10,299, so if the can list is more than 11K I'm going south to buy.

Know any kawi dealers in around Idaho, or Washington?
