Feel free to copy anything you see that might be of intrest over there to that section. This is just a thread about the 2009 Popos, so I was passing on info on what ever 2009s models I ran accross.  I am not really into the side by side thing. I tried an RZR last year. Not realy my thing.

I will say I sorta wish they had kept the catagory deal limited to brands, its hard enough building up activity in these other then Can-am brand sections with the side by sides out of the equation. I know whenever I run accross a new forum, that if there is minimal activity showing in the brands I am interested in, I just move on. I would like to see this site (one of my favorites) get known for more than just Can-am info. It was pretty slow going as it was.

I am impressed with the 09 Polaris line up. From the sport quads to the side by sides they put them really impresive competive models out there. I wish the Utes weighed less and they would changed the CVT to one like yamaha's. I also wish the utes were two inches narrower.

The video you posted cc is the one that got me impressed. I love the narrow seating. All the quads I've owned, I couldn't really lean like I wanted to in the turns so I really think that will feel awesome in high speed cornering plus having the extra foot space will make me feel more confident in the ride manipulating. It's like having sport quad leg and foot room with fender protection, lol. I know this is small but I also like the steel bar in the back to pull quads out with, a neat thought I felt. What has me curious is how the "roll back" rear suspension is gonna feel. It sounds like an interesting idea to suspension travel. Any thoughts on this?

I really like the new features on the new Polaris 850 Sportsman... looks like Polaris is coming along. The thought of upgrading did run through my mind. I guess I'll wait till they come out and get some ride time and hear some reviews before I think anymore about it.

I don't know if any of U guys caught what that dude said in the first vid cc1999 posted, BUT I for see a massive problem with the new Polaris machines.... HE said that the voltage regulator is up front, behind the radiator......I bet that will go over real well. LOL. They should have learned from Bombardier and the old 03/04/05 OL 330/400 setup. Anyone who has owned one of these will tell U what's up LOL. Other than that, it looks pretty good IMO.

I am guessing that is a bad place for it you are mudder? If not a mudder, is there some other reason for concern?

They are still the heaviest machine out there & with more power I can see twisiting off two CV JTs in a day rather than only one. Maybe the new front end setup will prevent some of the axle/CV Jt problems??

I will wait & see unless the new Polaris has lost 50 pounds of weight the Can Am is the one for me.

I think this bike is gonna demand its respect since not many people take polaris seriously.

I think NBM is referring to the heat from the radiator affecting the VR. On the first Outlanders there was a big problem with the VR's dying up front and BRP started selling a relocation kit with an updated VR. Seemed once they were moved to the back, all was good.
Of course thats was on the Outty's and the Sportsman may be entirely different

What pees me off are the Honda guys quoting the sales numbers as to why Honda is awesome.  That does not translate to the guys wanting some performance and the best from their quads.  Those sales numbers are from the guys that don't research, are branded and close their eyes to other brands, or just don't give a flip and buy what they have always bought.  Pick any one of those as a Slogan Honda, because they explain your customers perfectly.

Popo did the "Touring" to compete with the Max. Ya lost me on there. Were you reffering to the X2. To me the Max and the T are pretty much just alike except the T has the more comforatable seat. Prior to the "T",  The Max had the better passenger seating back when Popo only had the X2 to compete with it.
